Job Title: Staff RPH/ Registered Pharmacist

Location: Bend, OR

Contract: 05 months with possible contract to hire

Shift: 8:30am-5:pm

Hours Per week: 40 hours per week.

Description:

5. What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?

• Review, verify, and sign off on prescriptions to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians, ensuring adherence to pharmacy protocols and Board of Pharmacy requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient medication records and respond to provider or patient inquiries regarding prescriptions.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations including inventory management, medication dispensing, and workflow coordination.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (state board, DEA, HIPAA) and support audits or inspections as required.
• Respond to emails and documentation requests related to pharmacy operations and compliance.
• Deliver patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions when needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy and resolve prescription issues.
