I am seeking to hire a postdoctoral researcher to join my group at the University of Minnesota . The position will focus on first-principles (DFT) modeling and design of bulk non-rare-earth ferromagnetic materials , with an emphasis on the discovery and understanding of designer magnetic materials for future spintronic technologies . Candidates with strong expertise in DFT, magnetic materials, high-throughput calculations, and computational condensed matter physics are especially encouraged to apply or to share this post with interested applicants.
