XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is NOW HIRING for an Industrial Painter / Powder Coater (Wet Painter)!

Location: Terrell, TX 75160

Pay Rate: $16.00- $20.00 Hourly Based Experience

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: Monday- Thursday; 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview

Responsible for painting products to customer specifications and drawings by setting up and operating wet and powder coating equipment. This includes paint mixing stations, spray guns, powder guns, hoppers, and paint booths while painting various shapes and sizes of metal parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surface cleaning and preparation
• Spray paint, powder coat, and perform touch-up painting
• Follow processes, specifications, and blueprints to determine required coatings
• Adjust painting equipment and processes to ensure quality production
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Organize work area for efficient workflow
• Complete required paperwork and computer entries
• Maintain a safe work environment following OSHA and company procedures
• Inspect painted parts and correct defects as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of industrial painting experience
• Experience with wet and powder coat applications
• Familiar with automotive paints, primers, caulking, and Bondo (auto body finish)
• Experience using paint thickness meters and measurement tools
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand/move throughout shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Able to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Must be flexible for overtime and occasional weekend work
