Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for the shipment and receipt of all goods coming in and out of our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• - Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips
• - Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling packages
• - Manage inventory levels and keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
• - Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
• - Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages or discrepancies
• - Responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to shipping and receiving
• - Handle all shipping and receiving paperwork and documentation
• - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Requirements:

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Prior experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred
• - Ability to operating warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks
• - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• - Proficient in using shipping and inventory management software
• - Ability to lift and move heavy packages
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• - Adhering to safety regulations and procedures
