Job Description

A Leading Manufacturing Company located in Union County, NJ is searching for a Senior Accountant who will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day general ledger activity in a hands-on environment.
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and assist in the review of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Support internal financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist with inventory accounting, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
• Partner with operations on production costs and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with external audits and provide requested documentation.
• Help improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies.

Qualified candidates for the Senior Accountant role should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
• 5+ years of experience
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required.

The total compensation range for this opportunity is $70,000 to $80,000 plus bonus with excellent benefits.
