We’re partnering with a school district in Aransas County, Texas to hire a dedicated School Psychologist / Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This is an in-person, school-based role, with additional details forthcoming as the district finalizes needs.

The School Psychologist (LSSP) will support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success through assessment, consultation, and intervention services. The role includes collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive appropriate supports and services aligned with state and federal guidelines.

Position Details:

• Position: School Psychologist / LSSP
• Location: In-person, Aransas County, TX
• Hours: Full-time or part-time (to be confirmed)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday; specific days/hours are flexible
• School Year: 2025–2026
• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations in compliance with Texas and federal regulations.
• Interpret assessment results and present findings at ARD/IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with educators and support teams to develop and implement student interventions.
• Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns.
• Support MTSS, behavior intervention planning, and school-based mental health initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance records.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas LSSP license (required).
• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and special education law.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
