Job Summary:

We are looking for a Product Owner with strong Banking/Financial domain expertise to drive the development of customer-centric digital and core banking products. The role involves owning the product backlog, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog , ensuring it is prioritized based on business value and customer impact.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (business, compliance, operations, and IT) to define product vision and roadmap.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications .
  • Act as the primary liaison between business teams and development teams.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with banking regulations, compliance, and risk frameworks.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives such as online banking, mobile banking, payments, and lending platforms.
  • Monitor product performance using KPIs and continuously improve customer experience.
  • Work closely with UX/UI teams to enhance usability and customer journeys.
  • Support UAT, release planning, and go-to-market strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–12+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or fintech.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in banking products .
  • Strong understanding of banking domains such as:
  • Retail Banking (accounts, deposits)
  • Payments (UPI, cards, NEFT/RTGS)
  • Lending (loans, mortgages)
  • Digital Banking platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies .
  • Strong skills in:
  • Requirement gathering and documentation
  • Stakeholder management
  • Backlog prioritization
