Orthopedic Physician Assistant - Surgical
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist orthopedic surgeons during surgical procedures in the operating room
- Conduct patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations in the clinic
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Perform preoperative and postoperative patient assessments
- Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests and imaging
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and postoperative care
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain detailed medical records
- Participate in patient follow-up and ongoing care management

Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant
- Prior experience in orthopedic surgery or musculoskeletal medicine
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, surgical protocols, and patient care standards
