Multi-award-winning, boutique law firm Berner Law Group, PLLC is seeking an experienced Washington Family Law Paralegal to join our Snohomish County practice. This role is intended for a career family law paralegal who is confident managing active cases in a structured, billable-hour environment and who takes pride in producing accurate, organized, high-quality work in complex matters.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing court filings and procedural deadlines
• Direct communication with clients
• Coordinating with opposing counsel and court staff
• Assisting with hearing and trial preparation
• Maintaining organized digital case files
• Accurate, contemporaneous time entry
This is a meaningful, hands-on position with real case involvement.
Qualifications
• Recent Washington State family law paralegal experience required
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Washington court rules and e-filing systems
• Experience working in a billable-hour practice
• Professional judgment and discretion in high-conflict matters
• Currently located in Washington State
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $90,000–$105,000 DOE
• $5,000 retention bonus after successful completion of 6 months
• Employer-paid medical insurance
• Dental and vision benefits
• Employer-funded 401(k) contribution
• Generous PTO and paid holidays
• Modern case management systems and organized workflows
Compensation may exceed the posted range for candidates with exceptional experience.
Hybrid flexibility may be available after demonstrated performance. Remote work may be considered for exceptional Washington-based candidates.
Long-Term Growth Opportunity
For paralegals seeking long-term advancement, there may be a pathway to pursue the Washington Rule 6 Law Clerk program after sufficient tenure and demonstrated performance.
All inquiries will be handled confidentially.
If you are seeking a stable, well-compensated position with substantive responsibility and long-term growth potential, we encourage you to apply.
