The Licensed Behavioral Health Professional provides mental health assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment planning services to individuals in a correctional environment. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Behavioral Health Professional supports rehabilitation and recovery by addressing behavioral health needs in a secure correctional facility.
LICENSED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL (LCSW, LPC, LCSW) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriateAssists in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projectsMay direct special projects as requestedParticipates in and conducts in-service trainings/education, as well as assists in the orientation of new staffDocuments appropriately in the Electronic Health RecordAttends training and meetings as requiredLICENSED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL (LCSW, LPC, LCSW) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.MUST be licensed in Kansas ( LMSW, LCSW, LMLP, LCP, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT or equivalent).
