Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Administrative Assistant to support daily office and clinical operations. This role involves managing administrative tasks, assisting patients, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front desk and administrative support in a clinical or office setting
  • Manage patient correspondence, documentation, and scheduling
  • Maintain and update records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems (e.g., Epic)
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
  • Assist with general office management tasks and workflow coordination
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
  • Prepare and manage documents using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Handle inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Support team collaboration and assist with daily operational needs

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in an office or clinical setting
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • Administrative and office management processes
  • Medical terminology and healthcare protocols
  • HIPAA regulations
  • Basic proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Electronic Medical Records systems (e.g., Epic)
