Now Hiring: Staff Accountant (Financial Reporting)

We’re working with a publicly traded company seeking a Staff Accountant (Financial Reporting) to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an accountant looking to transition out of public accounting or continue building SEC reporting experience in industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and review external financial statements, including 10-Ks and 10-Qs

• Support regulatory and compliance reporting (SEC, SOX, etc.)

• Assist with monthly close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations

• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely reporting

• Support audit processes, including PBC preparation and auditor requests

• Research and apply new accounting guidance (FASB, SEC, etc.)

✅ What They’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)

• 2–4 years of experience in:

• Public accounting (Big 4, national, or large regional firm), OR
• Financial reporting within a publicly traded company
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• CPA or CPA candidate (preferred, not required)
• Advanced Excel skills
