JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to support large-scale, mission‑critical data center projects with a strong focus on physical security system installations. This individual will oversee the execution of access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and related low‑voltage security systems from project kickoff through final commissioning. This is a highly visible, onsite role working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and end clients in fast‑paced data center environments.
Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage all phases of physical security system installations within data center environments, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems
-Serve as the primary point of contact onsite, coordinating between security integrators, electricians, engineers, and stakeholders
-Oversee daily field operations including site walks, schedule tracking, safety compliance, and quality control
-Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
-Ensure installations align with drawings, specifications, and client security standards
-Track progress and report project status, risks, and milestones to leadership
-Support system turn‑up, testing, commissioning, and closeout activities
-Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and site‑specific requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-5+ years of experience as a Project Manager supporting data center, mission‑critical, or large commercial construction projects
-Hands-on experience overseeing physical security system installations (access control, CCTV, low‑voltage systems)
-Background working with electrical contractors, security integrators, or low‑voltage construction teams
-Strong understanding of construction documentation, blueprints, schedules, and budgets
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders onsite
-Comfortable working in active data center construction environments with a field‑first mindset
