Welling Young is partnering with our long-term client who is a claims administrator responsible for multiple claims programs to include commercial auto, general liability, construction, self-defense, and red flag law claims. This position will handle claims within each program’s expectations and focus on the best possible claim outcomes.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing administrative support for the claims operation.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Courteously and promptly answer calls from insureds, claimants, agents, and any other parties.
• Assist in providing and gathering necessary information in a timely manner.
• Accurately enter notice of loss information into the claim system and assign claims to the appropriate adjuster.
• Identify claims that require immediate attention and escalate to the appropriate resource.
• Confirm receipt of claims and send acknowledgement letters.
• Maintain positive, professional relationships with insureds, customers, carriers, and co-workers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Communicate and collaborate with adjusters to provide claims support.
• Research, obtain, and document claim information to ensure the level of service provided our customers meets/exceeds service level agreements.
• Respond to customer inquiries and accurately document discussions in electronic claim file.
• Process financial transactions to include loss and expense payments, stop payments, voids and re-issuance of payments.
• Maintain claim files to include closings, transfers, claim file audit pulls, etc.
• Process letters, and any related claim forms and correspondence.
• Assist with special projects as required/requested.
• Demonstrate a technical proficiency with all computer systems necessary for the efficient management of daily tasks.
• Document all activity on any claim in the electronic claim system.
• Create and distribute reports as needed.
• Mail distribution and processing.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• High School Degree or GED required with a minimum of 2 years work experience preferred.
•Experience utilizing computer technology; such as Microsoft Office, e-mail, Web-enabled
applications, and database software.
• Ability to accurately compute a variety of numerical calculations required.
